The Asia Pacific region of the world is made up of 32 nations, located in eastern Asia and the Pacific Islands.  It includes large, economically powerful countries like South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.  It also includes smaller, less powerful countries like Chuuk, Fiji, Kiribati, Pohnpei, Papua New Guinea, and the Western Caroline Islands.
